Product Description
German-born Elke Duerr is a wolf advocate, educator, and film maker currently raising funds for her non-profit, Wild Wolf Film, a 501C charity. She is documenting the epic struggle of the Mexican Grey Wolf--the most endangered species in North America with only 42 left in the wild. She goes on wolf watches in their native land in the south west corridor of Arizona and New Mexico where she also gives lectures, works as a mediator between ranchers, Native Americans and wold advocates, and of course is recording all of her experiences--all on a school teacher's salary.
Designer Mary Meyer has graciously designed a captivating image for the t-shirts. 100% of the 200 limited edition shirts' profits will go to Elke to make her film. The project was funded by animal rights advocate Dawn Ladd. The shirts come with a hand numbered postcard complete with an image of a paw print that Elke took on one of her watches.
